Evamevaṁ kho, bhikkhave, yaṁ lobhapakataṁ kammaṁ lobhajaṁ lobhanidānaṁ lobhasamudayaṁ, yatthassa attabhāvo nibbattati tattha taṁ kammaṁ vipaccati.  
In the same way, any deed that emerges from greed—born, sourced, and originated from greed—ripens where that new incarnation is born.

“Etarahi, brāhmaṇa, manussā adhammarāgarattā visamalobhābhibhūtā micchādhammaparetā.   “These days, brahmin, humans just love illicit desire. They’re overcome by immoral greed, and mired in wrong custom.  
Te adhammarāgarattā visamalobhābhibhūtā micchādhammaparetā tiṇhāni satthāni gahetvā aññamaññaṁ jīvitā voropenti, tena bahū manussā kālaṁ karonti.  
Taking up sharp knives, they murder each other. And so many people perish.  
Puna caparaṁ, brāhmaṇa, etarahi manussā adhammarāgarattā visamalobhābhibhūtā micchādhammaparetā.  
Furthermore, because these days humans just love illicit desire …  
Tesaṁ adhammarāgarattānaṁ visamalobhābhibhūtānaṁ micchādhammaparetānaṁ devo na sammādhāraṁ anuppavecchati.  
the heavens don’t provide enough rain,  
Puna caparaṁ, brāhmaṇa, etarahi manussā adhammarāgarattā visamalobhābhibhūtā micchādhammaparetā.  
Furthermore, because these days humans just love illicit desire …  
Tesaṁ adhammarāgarattānaṁ visamalobhābhibhūtānaṁ micchādhammaparetānaṁ yakkhā vāḷe amanusse ossajjanti, tena bahū manussā kālaṁ karonti.  
native spirits let vicious monsters loose. And so many people perish.

lobho purisassa ajjhattaṁ uppajjamāno uppajjati hitāya vā ahitāya vā”ti?   Does greed come up in a person for their welfare or harm?”  
“Luddho panāyaṁ, kālāmā, purisapuggalo lobhena abhibhūto pariyādinnacitto pāṇampi hanati, adinnampi ādiyati, paradārampi gacchati, musāpi bhaṇati, parampi tathattāya samādapeti, yaṁ sa hoti dīgharattaṁ ahitāya dukkhāyā”ti.  
“A greedy individual, overcome by greed, kills living creatures, steals, commits adultery, lies, and encourages others to do the same. Is that for their lasting harm and suffering?”  
alobho purisassa ajjhattaṁ uppajjamāno uppajjati hitāya vā ahitāya vā”ti?  
Does contentment come up in a person for their welfare or harm?”  
“Aluddho panāyaṁ, kālāmā, purisapuggalo lobhena anabhibhūto apariyādinnacitto neva pāṇaṁ hanati, na adinnaṁ ādiyati, na paradāraṁ gacchati, na musā bhaṇati, na parampi tathattāya samādapeti, yaṁ sa hoti dīgharattaṁ hitāya sukhāyā”ti.  
“An individual who is content, not overcome by greed, doesn’t kill living creatures, steal, commit adultery, lie, or encourage others to do the same. Is that for their lasting welfare and happiness?”

What do you think? Is contentment real?”  
‘ahu pubbe lobho, tadahu akusalaṁ, so etarahi natthi, iccetaṁ kusalaṁ;  
‘Formerly there was greed, which was unskillful. Now there is none, so that’s skillful.

Lobho akusalamūlaṁ, doso akusalamūlaṁ, moho akusalamūlaṁ.   Greed, hate, and delusion.  
Yadapi, bhikkhave, lobho tadapi akusalamūlaṁ;  
Greed is a root of the unskillful.  
yadapi luddho lobhena abhibhūto pariyādinnacitto parassa asatā dukkhaṁ uppādayati vadhena vā bandhanena vā jāniyā vā garahāya vā pabbājanāya vā balavamhi balattho itipi tadapi akusalaṁ.  
When a greedy person, overcome by greed, causes another to suffer under a false pretext—by execution or imprisonment or confiscation or condemnation or banishment—thinking ‘I’m powerful, I want power’, that too is unskillful.  
Itissame lobhajā lobhanidānā lobhasamudayā lobhapaccayā aneke pāpakā akusalā dhammā sambhavanti.  
And so these many bad, unskillful things are produced in them, born, sourced, originated, and conditioned by greed.  
Evarūpo, bhikkhave, puggalo lobhajehi pāpakehi akusalehi dhammehi abhibhūto pariyādinnacitto diṭṭhe ceva dhamme dukkhaṁ viharati, savighātaṁ saupāyāsaṁ sapariḷāhaṁ.  
Such a person—overcome with bad, unskillful qualities born of greed, hate, and delusion—suffers in the present life, with anguish, distress, and fever.  
evamevaṁ kho, bhikkhave, evarūpo puggalo lobhajehi pāpakehi akusalehi dhammehi abhibhūto pariyādinnacitto diṭṭhe ceva dhamme dukkhaṁ viharati, savighātaṁ saupāyāsaṁ sapariḷāhaṁ.

Abhijjhāvisamalobhābhibhūtena, gahapati, cetasā viharanto akiccaṁ karoti, kiccaṁ aparādheti.   When your heart is mastered by covetousness and immoral greed, you do what you shouldn’t, and fail to do what you should.  
Sa kho so, gahapati, ariyasāvako abhijjhāvisamalobho cittassa upakkilesoti, iti viditvā abhijjhāvisamalobhaṁ cittassa upakkilesaṁ pajahati.  
Knowing that ‘covetousness and immoral greed are corruptions of the mind’, that noble disciple gives them up.  
Yato ca kho, gahapati, ariyasāvakassa abhijjhāvisamalobho cittassa upakkilesoti, iti viditvā abhijjhāvisamalobho cittassa upakkileso pahīno hoti.  
When a noble disciple has given up these things,

Then you won’t act out of greed by way of body, speech, or mind.

Na, bhikkhave, lobhā alobho samudeti;  
Greed doesn’t give rise to contentment.  
atha kho, bhikkhave, lobhā lobhova samudeti.  
Rather, greed just gives rise to greed.  
Na, bhikkhave, lobhajena kammena dosajena kammena mohajena kammena devā paññāyanti, manussā paññāyanti, yā vā panaññāpi kāci sugatiyo.  
It’s not because of deeds born of greed, hate, and delusion that gods, humans, or those in any other good places are found.  
Atha kho, bhikkhave, lobhajena kammena dosajena kammena mohajena kammena nirayo paññāyati tiracchānayoni paññāyati pettivisayo paññāyati, yā vā panaññāpi kāci duggatiyo.  
Rather, it’s because of deeds born of greed, hate, and delusion that hell, the animal realm, the ghost realm, or any other bad places are found.  
Alobho nidānaṁ kammānaṁ samudayāya, adoso nidānaṁ kammānaṁ samudayāya, amoho nidānaṁ kammānaṁ samudayāya.

With the ending of greed, hate, and delusion, the sources of deeds are ended.”

Lobhassa ca pahānāya dosassa ca pahānāya atthi majjhimā paṭipadā cakkhukaraṇī ñāṇakaraṇī upasamāya abhiññāya sambodhāya nibbānāya saṁvattati.  
Существует Срединный путь для оставления жажды и злобы, который даёт видение, даёт знание, ведёт к покою, к прямому знанию, к просветлению, к ниббане.  
There is a middle way of practice for giving up greed and hate. It gives vision and knowledge, and leads to peace, direct knowledge, awakening, and extinguishment.

Covetousness and immoral greed, ill will, anger, acrimony, disdain, contempt, jealousy, stinginess, deceit, deviousness, obstinacy, aggression, conceit, arrogance, vanity, and negligence are corruptions of the mind.  
Sa kho so, bhikkhave, bhikkhu ‘abhijjhāvisamalobho cittassa upakkileso’ti—iti viditvā abhijjhāvisamalobhaṁ cittassa upakkilesaṁ pajahati;  
Зная, что алчность и нечестивая жадность – это загрязнение, что загрязняет ум, монах отбрасывает его.  
A mendicant who understands that covetousness and immoral greed are corruptions of the mind gives them up.

И, всё же, хоть я и понимаю Дхамму, которой научил Благословенный, временами состояния жажды, злобы, заблуждения наводняют мой ум и остаются в нём.  
Despite understanding this, sometimes my mind is occupied by thoughts of greed, hate, and delusion.  
‘kosu nāma me dhammo ajjhattaṁ appahīno yena me ekadā lobhadhammāpi cittaṁ pariyādāya tiṭṭhanti, dosadhammāpi cittaṁ pariyādāya tiṭṭhanti, mohadhammāpi cittaṁ pariyādāya tiṭṭhantī’”ti.  
Я задумался, уважаемый, какое состояние всё ещё не отброшено мной внутренне, из-за которого временами эти состояния жажды, злобы, заблуждения наводняют мой ум и остаются в нём? 
I wonder what qualities remain in me that I have such thoughts?”  
“So eva kho te, mahānāma, dhammo ajjhattaṁ appahīno yena te ekadā lobhadhammāpi cittaṁ pariyādāya tiṭṭhanti, dosadhammāpi cittaṁ pariyādāya tiṭṭhanti, mohadhammāpi cittaṁ pariyādāya tiṭṭhanti.

agiddhilobhaṁ nissāya giddhilobho pahātabbo;   Имея своей поддержкой отсутствие ненасытности и жадности, следует отбросить ненасытность и жадность.  
Greed and lust should be given up, relying on not being greedy and lustful.

«Есть ли в этом достопочтенном какие-либо состояния, основанные на жажде, из-за которых он, с умом, охваченным этими состояниями, не зная, мог бы сказать:  
‘Does this venerable have any qualities that arouse greed? Such qualities that, were their mind to be overwhelmed by them, they might say  
‘natthi kho imassāyasmato tathārūpā lobhanīyā dhammā yathārūpehi lobhanīyehi dhammehi pariyādinnacitto ajānaṁ vā vadeyya— 
«В этом достопочтенном нет таких состояний, основанных на жажде.  
‘This venerable has no such qualities that arouse greed.  
Yato naṁ samannesamāno visuddhaṁ lobhanīyehi dhammehi samanupassati tato naṁ uttari samannesati dosanīyesu dhammesu.

Ahampi kho, bho bhāradvāja, yasmiṁ samaye arakkhiteneva kāyena, arakkhitāya vācāya, arakkhitena cittena, anupaṭṭhitāya satiyā, asaṁvutehi indriyehi antepuraṁ pavisāmi, ativiya maṁ tasmiṁ samaye lobhadhammā parisahanti.  
For sometimes I too enter the harem with unprotected body, speech, mind, mindfulness, and sense faculties. At those times powerful thoughts of desire get the better of me.  
Yasmiñca khvāhaṁ, bho bhāradvāja, samaye rakkhiteneva kāyena, rakkhitāya vācāya, rakkhitena cittena, upaṭṭhitāya satiyā, saṁvutehi indriyehi antepuraṁ pavisāmi, na maṁ tathā tasmiṁ samaye lobhadhammā parisahanti.  
But sometimes I enter the harem with protected body, speech, mind, mindfulness, and sense faculties. At those times such thoughts of desire don’t get the better of me.  

sn46.28lobhakkhandhaṁ2Pi En Ru dhamma

So satisambojjhaṅgaṁ bhāvitena cittena anibbiddhapubbaṁ appadālitapubbaṁ lobhakkhandhaṁ nibbijjhati padāleti;   With a mind that has developed the awakening factor of mindfulness, they penetrate and shatter the mass of greed,  
So upekkhāsambojjhaṅgaṁ bhāvitena cittena anibbiddhapubbaṁ appadālitapubbaṁ lobhakkhandhaṁ nibbijjhati padāleti;  
With a mind that has developed the awakening factor of equanimity, they penetrate and shatter the mass of greed,
