“Mendicants, these four people are found in the world.
Katame cattāro?
What four?
-
Yuttappaṭibhāno, no muttappaṭibhāno;
One who speaks on topic, but not fluently.
-
muttappaṭibhāno, no yuttappaṭibhāno;
One who speaks fluently, but not on topic.
-
yuttappaṭibhāno ca muttappaṭibhāno ca;
One who speaks on topic and fluently.
-
neva yuttappaṭibhāno na muttappaṭibhāno—
One who speaks neither on topic nor fluently.
ime kho, bhikkhave, cattāro puggalā santo saṁvijjamānā lokasmin”ti.
