Vatthusutta  Grounds

“Kiṁsu vatthu manussānaṁ,  “What is the site for human beings?
kiṁsūdha paramo sakhā;  What is the best comrade here?
Kiṁsu bhūtā upajīvanti,  By what do the creatures who live off the earth
ye pāṇā pathavissitā”ti. 
pathavissitā”ti → paṭhaviṁ sitāti (bj, sya-all, km, pts2ed); pathaviṁ sitāti (pts1ed)
sustain their life?”

“Puttā vatthu manussānaṁ,  “Children are the site for human beings.
bhariyā ca paramo sakhā; 
bhariyā ca → bhariyāva (bj, pts2ed); bhariyā (sya-all, km)
A wife is the best comrade.
Vuṭṭhiṁ bhūtā upajīvanti,  The creatures who live off the earth
ye pāṇā pathavissitā”ti.  sustain their life by rain.”
