Usabhattheragāthā
Usabha (1st)
“Nagā nagaggesu susaṁvirūḷhā, The trees on the mountain tops have grown tall,
Udaggameghena navena sittā; freshly sprinkled by towering clouds.
Vivekakāmassa araññasaññino, For Usabha, who loves seclusion,and who thinks only of wilderness, Janeti bhiyyo usabhassa kalyatan”ti. goodness flourishes more and more.
Belaṭṭhāniko setuccho,
Bandhuro khitako isi;
Malitavambho suhemanto,
Dhammasavo dhammasavapitā;
Saṅgharakkhitatthero ca,
Usabho ca mahāmunīti.
