Vimalattheragāthā
Vimala (1st)
“Dharaṇī ca siñcati vāti, The celestial lake Dharaṇī pours,
the heavenly gale blows, Māluto vijjutā carati nabhe; and lightning flashes across the sky!
Upasamanti vitakkā, But my thoughts are stilled,
Cittaṁ susamāhitaṁ mamā”ti. my mind is serene.
Sirīvaḍḍho revato thero,
sumaṅgalo sānusavhayo;
Ramaṇīyavihārī ca,
samiddhiujjayasañjayā;
Rāmaṇeyyo ca so thero,
vimalo ca raṇañjahoti.
