Sutta Central

Sutta Central (no affilliation with this work apart from gratitude) has supplied much of the material used in these pages. The material includes recent translations of the Dīgha Nikāya by Bhikkhu Bodhi and translations by Bhante Sujato, Bhikkhu Brahmali, John Kelly, Sue Sawyer, Victoria Yareham and Laurence Khantipalo Mills. The first draft of the translation of the Therigatha was made by Jessica Walton and it was completed by Bhikkhu Sujato for Sutta Central in 2019. All original material on Sutta Central is dedicated to the Public Domain as per Creative Commons Zero (CC0 1.0 Universal).

Dīgha Nikāya English Translations by Bhikkhu Bodhi

English Translations of the Dīgha Nikāya by Bhikkhu Bodhi are part of the Buddhist Publication Society (BPS) Transcription Project and have been made available with the kind permission of Bhikkhu Bodhi and the BPS. Translations are released under the following licence terms:
