Kumārakassapattheragāthā  Kassapa the Prince

“Aho buddhā aho dhammā,  Oh, the Buddhas! Oh, the Dhammas!
aho no satthu sampadā;  Oh, the accomplishments of the Teacher!
Yattha etādisaṁ dhammaṁ,  Here a disciple may realize
sāvako sacchikāhiti.  such a teaching for themselves.

Asaṅkheyyesu kappesu,  Through countless eons
sakkāyādhigatā ahū;  they obtained substantial forms.
Tesamayaṁ pacchimako,  This is their last,
carimoyaṁ samussayo;  their very final body
Jātimaraṇasaṁsāro,  in the transmigration through births and deaths;
natthi dāni punabbhavo”ti.  now there’ll be no more future lives.

… Kumārakassapo thero ….
