1. KuruṅgamigajātakaThe Four-horned Antelope: a past life story

“Ñātametaṁ kuruṅgassa, yaṁ tvaṁ sepaṇṇi siyyasi;
ñātametaṁ → (pts) siyyasi → seyyasi (bj, sya1ed, sya2ed, pts-vp-pli1) | siyyasi → seyyasi (sya-all) | siyyasi → seyyasi (cck: sī. syā. pī.)
The four-horned antelope knows that it’s you who tosses fruit from the beechwood tree.
Aññaṁ sepaṇṇi gacchāmi, na me te ruccate phalan”ti.
sepaṇṇi → sepaṇṇiṁ (bj, sya-all) | sepaṇṇi gacchāmi → sepaṇṇiṁ gacchami (pts) | sepaṇṇiṁ → sepaṇi (bj: machasaṁ, syā)
I’ll go to another beechwood, I don’t like your fruit.

Kuruṅgamigajātakaṁ paṭhamaṁ.
paṭhamaṁ → (bj)
